What Rahu's transit means
Rahu, the north node of the Moon, stands for ambition, desire, foreign lands, technology and sudden change. Its transit can bring quick rises as well as confusion.
Rahu spends about 18 months in each sign and moves backwards through the zodiac. Rahu and Ketu are always exactly opposite each other and change signs on the same day.
Rahu is a shadow planet (chhaya graha), not a physical body. Its position is the point where the Moon's path crosses the Sun's path, which is also where eclipses happen.
